The Business Challenge

PGi shifted its business focus to virtual events in early 2020. This meant that the organization had to learn a lot about the competitive space and the needs of users. The platform also needed to be more self-service and expand on its capabilities for remote virtual events.

Design team’s challenge

The design team had to come up to speed on the intricacies of the product and find ways to make complex feature flows more understandable to new users. Improvements to the experience needed to be incremental but still impactful while not compromising the stability of the product. We also needed to introduce a new design system and create a more modern look to the presentation layer of the product.

TalkPoint rebrand to iMeetLive

In 2016 PGi acquired TalkPoint. Product Design supported the rebrand effort by providing the new team with iMeet visual assets and style guides. This video example highlights the rebranded webcast capabilities and lets potential customers see the product in action.

iMeetLive

Background

iMeetLive is a webcasting solution built with every user in mind making it easier than ever to engage your audience with interactive, impactful events. From webinars to large-scale, global events, iMeetLive enables you to deliver the business results you need.

Minimum viable product & vision

PGi saw an opportunity to move in to the large virtual event space. Building upon their iMeet platform a MVP product that supported up to 1500 participants was developed as PGI’s offering in the events space. iMeetLive could be custom branded and incorporated live video, screen and file sharing.
